Randal is currently the Program Director and Owner-Operator for Grass to Greens. He has worked as a gardener, landscaper, carpenter, and community organizer throughout the Americas. In latitudes ranging from Asheville to Ecuador, Randal has managed forests and community gardens. Randal attended the University of Virginia and earned a Master's degree in Sustainable Development and Appalachian Studies from Appalachian State University.
Randal was previously a gardener and groundskeeper at Brooks-Howell Home in Asheville and Sustainability Director at Pine Mountain Settlement School in Harlan County, Kentucky.
