The Goodnight Family Sustainable Development Department recently partnered with several community organizations, including Every Campus A Refuge (ECAR), to host the "Welcoming New Arrivals to the High Country" Conference in Leon Levine Hall on the campus of Appalachian State. The gathering brought together students, community members, organizations, and higher-education partners committed to building more welcoming, connected, and inclusive communities in the High Country. The event was also sponsored by local favorites Stick Boy Bakery and Espresso News.
