Congratulations to SD student Alexis Beittel, who has recently published her poem, "For the Mountains," and her artwork, titled "Cosmology," in The Peel Review, Vol. 18. Beittel is a senior pursuing a BS in Sustainable Development with a concentration in Environmental Studies and a minor in Studio Art. Beittel is also a student in the Honors College. The Peel Review is Appalachian State's student literature and arts magazine. According to the publication's editors, The Peel Review "works to cultivate creative expression in our student body and local community by providing an outlet for creatives to express themselves and connect."
