Following are links to lists of sample specializations for each degree program concentration. In consultation with your adviser, you may choose to follow one of the samples or adjust it as appropriate. You may also wish to develop a specialization that is not listed in this selection. The important thing to remember is that your specialization *must* be approved in advance by your adviser.
As you develop your specialization area, think about how this combination of classes will:
- help you to deepen your overall understanding of sustainable development
- help you to develop an interest that is complementary to your degree program concentration
- help you to prepare for the career you hope to have in the future
- help you to create a coherent program of study
