Students in the Sustainable Development Department are often eager to find opportunities to put their education to work in the community, and to continue learning more about sustainable practices by working side by side with local practitioners in nonprofit organizations, as environmental educators, in restoration efforts and social services, or on one of the many farms in our region. Students can receive academic credit for these opportunities by working with faculty advisors and site supervisors to locate and define an internship that suits their goals and vision.
