Determine who will be your faculty supervisor for the internship. This may be your academic advisor, but not necessarily. Your faculty internship supervisor will be the SD faculty member with whom you communicate during the internship and to whom you will turn in all academic assignments associated with your internship. If you are unsure who this person should be, consult with your academic advisor. You must receive approval for your internship from your faculty internship supervisor, and your academic advisor must determine whether the internship will count in your program of study.
